Course 1: Real Estate Essentials

The content of this course is designed to familiarize individuals with the basics of real estate, and elucidate the responsibilities and duties of a salesperson as mandated by the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 (REBBA) and its accompanying regulations, such as the Code of Ethics. Additionally, the course briefly touches upon other pertinent legislation.

• This is the first OREA Course 1 Exam from Humber College which gives an overview of the benefits, challenges and limitations of a real estate career.
• Provides details regarding salesperson responsibilities, how the marketplace operates and what principles impact value, along with in-depth real estate calculations needed for listing and selling property.
